Hello Folks,

I'm playing a GREAT mod for Call of Pripyat entitled "Call of Chernobyl."

It keeps triggering a Fatal Error whenever I try approaching a transfer point to the lab underground in Agropom.

It states to consult the log, which I want to do so I can let the mod's developers know what's happening, but I cannot find the log anywhere on my system.

Does anyone know where the log for Fatal Errors is kept...?

Please note that I do NOT have Call of Pripyat installed via GOG Galaxy. I had Galaxy installed well after CoP was already on my system. I also do NOT launch CoP through Galaxy.

No idea, but the mod developers should know. May as well ask them, too, in case they can get you the answer quicker.

In the meantime, tell us more about this mod? Stalker is great and I'd like to revisit the games soon, maybe with mods this time around.

I already asked the mod developers a while ago. No answer yet.

I'm still hoping that someone can help me locate where the Fatal Error log is kept with the GOG installation of Call of Pripyat. I can find information on locating it for the Steam version of the game, and I have looked there, with no results.

According to this wikia on STALKER, one can find the logs using the method described here: [url=]http://stalkermod.wikia.com/wiki/Crash_Log[/url]

That said, using my Windows search function, the logs that are produced have no Fatal Errors listed in them.

I'm starting to wonder now if Call of Chernobyl, being that it's installed into its own directory apart from Call of Pripyat, creates its own location for such a log...?

The game directory should have a file called fsgame.ltx in it. Open it in a text editor and look for a line that starts with "$app_data_root$". That line should specify the path to your user data (saves, screenshots, logs etc.).

The most important part of the log should be on your clipboard after the game crashes. Just CTRL-V to notepad or something right after a crash to see it.
