I wonder how much of it was done, its a shame to throw it all away, even more so since, many grown or come to know Stalker by the Russian Voice Acting Only. Heck even the Limited Edition of SoC i own, was cheaper (85$ new) and defaulted to Russian Voice Acting with English Text for me..

How to say it, its like watching an Anime Dub where you seen subtitled the last 3 seasons.

Original game language is English. Always has been from first game in the series. Original releases are North American's. So, english market. English versions.

Russian is one of the localisations. And it is normal to add or remove one of them to be planned.

Especially now, when it is not so easy to make russian dub. No more 1C internatinoal gaming subs. Well, it is possible of course to make such dub. But did it worth it? Subtitles is enough. All languages for now listed as are subs-only. Most likely, there is still be some russian-speech ingame. Like always been in any previous game versions.
They all always have Cheeki-Breeki.

And 'how to say that' - it is EXACTLY how you should play the games and watch the anime. For games it is more important to keep them fully english. For techical reasons. Same as original audio not-touched by dub-directors\sound ediotrs is technical reason to watch any Cinematography in original languge version, not matter if it Eng\Rus or any else.
For games it alternatively can be Eng UI and localised subs only. Still better keep it on fully Eng.

Ofc first time play easier to be on fully localised game. But it never be mandatory for games to have full-dub localisations. And you have russian subs. Again. most likely some non-quest speech on russian (and ukranian).
So its not like we got nothing. We got same as most player will got. English version.

i will not buy STALKER 2 if there is no Russian or Ukrainian voices.... with subtitles Fr or Uk, is ok... need also full gamepad support with aim-assist.

re-bought SoC just to camp first campfire with guitar & bla-blah... :)

depending chronology of S2, it can be russian as USSR or Ukrainian or what.... devs decide & will do as they can, COURAGE !

but ye it needs local voice acting !!
