Hey,

I know there's probably people out there that asked this but I'm not sure which mod to install for Shadow of Chernobyl to fix bug and stability without altering the original Stalker experience.

Thanks,

Zone Reclamation Project a.k.a. ZRP is all you need. It has some additional content, but its installation is optional.
Hi there,

just installed it today again and remebered this mod, which gives the game a better look.

I have just installed the game + this mod, runs fine under win10prof in 1920x1080 !

Enjoy

From what I have heard, the complete editions introduce a fair bit of changes. It is quite controversial in the community.
ZONE RECLAMATION PROJECT (ZRP)

Used that and one can use it for the bug fixing features only or to enhance a few Quality of life things such as get rid of the head bob entirely.

-------------------------------

Here are links to when / if you move on in the series more ZRP type mods that primarily fix bugs quality of life without extra non- optional changes

For Clear Sky SRP (Sky reclamation Project)

For Pripyat the Pripyat_Reclamation_Patch

Oblivion lost 2.2. is the only way to play my dude. more weapons, better spawn placements, more challenges, more artifacts and just a better experience overall. Its pretty stable too though not 100%- I would be saving frequently anyway because the zone isnt your friend.

Cannot recommend OL 2.2 enough. just dont get confused and get oblivion lost 3.1 as that is hot garbage.

Oblivion Lost changes everything about the game. I wouldn't recommend that for a first time playthrough.

Not really. It only tweaks the weapon (in)accuracy a bit and the vision distance of the npc's.

Complete is perfect for STALKER newbies.

Only the Complete it's fair enought.

Also If you are starting for the first time the series better to start from Clear Sky, because it's prequel of Shadow of Chernobyl.
