Any chance of Russian language localization? As it was originally made in Russian language to begin with. Kind of lacks immersion at least for people who know Russian.

On a related subject (I didn't want to make a new thread), can you "mix" languages in GOG version without additional mods? I mean subtitles in one language and audio in another.
No .

Every language has it's own package .
Ok, now I see. Thanks a lot.

Really? Someone told me few years ago that it s possible...

EDIT: i find this mod witch put voices in Russian:
http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/stalkershadowofchernobyl/mod/24175.html
But cutscenes are not subtitled so i can't understand anything.

Then i find this mod for english subtitle:
http://stalker.filefront.com/file/In_Game_CC_and_Subtitles;90520
But no way i can't make it work. The game crashes when first cutscene. Any solution?

Supergounou, please, read carefully.

Using ONLY gog versions without unpacking resources or using some mods ? No , I don't think so.
OK, I have a similar question about mixing languages. I just bought the pack, and I want to play SoC with Russian audio and English subtitles. What's the best way to do this? Should I use the Russian installer, and then add subtitles with a mod? Or should I use the English installer and do it all through mods? Anyone have a definitive answer?

I'd like to know before I spend a lot of time downloading the wrong installer...

Thanks!

I´m in the same boat... About to download both versions and trying it one by one...
Thanks for the answer.

Now I'm curious about the language mods. I didn't do much about it with SoC (I tried searching for one when I played it and couldn't find it back then) and CS, but one I found for CoP wasn't very satisfying because it didn't make the subtitles appear in some places.; most notably the protagonist's monologues when he investigates the helicopters.

Either? Not sure about the different subtitles. I would be interested myself.
