Hello,
some time ago I've obtained both "Spellforce 1 Platinum" and "Spellforce 2" base game.

Could someone tell me please if:
1- about SF1 Platinum, can I export-import the same characters between all games? (even with a mod or hack)
2- about SF2, should I buy and install all the expansion before starting a game or it's ok to finish each title alone before?
3- about SF2, is a Platinum version planned?

You don't need to play them in order but I would recommend doing so as there are subtle things you will pick up in the world that will from to the next (includes SF1 to BOW to SOTP to SF2) but unfortunately SpellForce 2 didn't pick up too much of the former world as I would hoped but that's subjective. I still recommend playing in order unless you don't like the style of the earlier SpellForce in which case you can play Order of Dawn a few missions to get a feel of the game and only complete it before you jump to SpellForce 2.

I don't think there's a platinum for the SpellForce 2 series but there should be a complete edition that includes all except Demons of the Past.

Regarding importing I found this:
Remember, the 3rd expansion you can import this character into the game. All Hero's and items you currently wear are imported, but your inventory is not. At level 30 if you reach it, make sure all your Heros and you have the best equipment before finishing the game and make a special save, maybe called "Import save" so you know which file you want to import. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T GO OVER LEVEL 30 with this save, the 3rd expansion cannot import you if you are level 31 or more.

The 2nd expansion is a beginner level game that takes place years after the Order of Dawn.
There might be different rules to SpellForce 2 and its expansions.

I'll surely play all chapters in order.
A full SF2 Platinum package would have been good, I don't like standalone expansions..

Anyway, about the importing, those news are quite bad !!
I hope there will be a mod for that like in Dungeon Siege 1! :O
