RTS AND SKIRMISH BALANCE CHANGES

With this patch, we are looking to address the overall unit dynamics within the RTS gameplay, as well as Hero interaction in Skirmish.
We have adjusted the combat and economy values of many units to make them more playable within their desired roles.
For Elves, we have taken a look at their early game economy and expansion costs as well.

We are looking to improve things even further, and are excited to hear your thoughts about the changes!

RTS CHANGES

All resistances that have previously been +50% or -50% have been adjusted to +25% and -25% respectively.
This makes hard-counters less effective and allows players to have more options in unit choice.

HUMANS

As we feel that Human T1 was generally in a good place, these changes are specifically made to make T2 and T3 units worthwhile.
Their health pools have been adjusted heavily with a slight adjustment to how Medics work in order to allow for better synergies.

Medic
- Heal is now single target
- New cost: 2 FP
- Medics now correctly leave heal stance when running out of focus points
- In combat mode, medics are now also able to target air units.

Griffin
- Health increased from 900 to 1700
- New Resistances: 0 / 25 / 0 / 75

Flag Bearer
- Health increased from 500 to 1000
- New Resistances: 25 / 25 / 0 / 75

Keeper
- Health increased from 900 to 1500

Champion
- Base Damage increased from 150 to 200

ORCS

The Orc faction has generally upgraded combat values across the board, while Goblins now synergize better with the rest of the army.

We appreciate all the time you invest in providing excellent feedback, giving us ideas, and of course playing SpellForce 3: Soul Harvest.

- Health increased from 800 to 1000

- Wood cost reduced from 25 to 15

Ice Phoenix
- Can no longer be produced at Capital
- Pierce Resistance reduced from 25% to 0%
- Build time increased from 20 to 30 seconds
- Additionally cost 2 Lenya
- Glaze no longer deals additional magic damage, no longer AoE, and the duration field no longer hits air units

Protector
- Resistances: 25% Strike, Pierce
- Damage increased from 50 to 75
- Phalanx Synergy increases resistances by 35%
- Upgrade increases resistances by 5% instead of 20%

Wanderer
- Base damage 40
- Now cost 1 iron bar to produce, no longer cost wood
- Upgrade now slightly increases damage instead of just changing type: 25 Pierce damage, 25Magic damage
