How do you use the cartridge retrieval unit? I read to select it with the mouse, but my mouse/track pad does not appear to work in the game. Is it a typed command or am I supposed to be having a mouse pointer to select objects in the game?

I am trying to show my daughter how much fun these games were to play, and we can't get past the first challenge!

Did you talk to the dying scientist? He tells you which one you need. Then you use the computer to retrieve it

Yes. Once he gives you the name, look at the screen and type in the name. Then the machine will retrieve it for you
