Last time I downloaded these games, it used DOSbox rather than Scumm, just downloaded it and scumm says it can't find the game data. The dosbox versions worked perfectly with no issues any chance we can get those back?
I know it's a few months late, but coincidentally I am actually making "patchers" for this and a few other DOS (mainly Sierra) games that will allow you to choose DOSBox or ScummVM!

This will be a simple installer that adds whichever emulator/engine is missing and the appropriate configurations and shortcuts, but you will still obviously need to own (and install) the GOG versions first.

I was doing this mainly for my own use, but if other people are interested I will happily share these "patchers" when done.

The only method I know of is through GOG Galaxy:

Install the game(s).

Go to Games > Installed.

Right-click any of the Space Quest games.

Select Manage Installation > Configure…

Uncheck Auto-update.

Click Show more versions.

Select "Version – 11 years ago" (the oldest version listed).

Click OK.

The game will update, and you will now have the DOSBox version.
