I can't find an answer to this either in the game itself or the manual, but maybe someone with more experience might have some ideas I haven't seen yet.
I'm only new to the game — having a great time with it, but still in the early scenarios, where everything's a learning curve, and what you create in one scenario gets carried over as the basis of the next. Which means what you think are smart choices may not seem so smart when a new scenario is added, along with additional personnel and equipment.
So, is there any way to move things after they've been placed? I can't find that, or an undo. The only option I can find is to go back and restart the mission where you did whatever you want to undo, and play on through again from there.
I guess that's part of the nature of the game, to learn from the consequences of a choice, but it seems a bit harsh when all you want to do is maybe something small, like move a potplant! ;-)
