The game has great potential. The core idea is great, and who doesn't love seemingly unique mashups of game ideas when done well, and in this game they seem to be on the right track. Below I will list some suggestions of things I think would help the game. Some things I feel could improve and some ideas on how to spice other things up a bit.

=Roadmap=
First of all, a roadmap for development would be much appriciated. Always nice to see what one can look forward to in later releases. It Might also help sell the game. Creating hyoe and all that.

=Start of game and guild system=
Secondly, As I don't know the roadmap for the game these suggestions might be redundant, but.
In my experience, everything kinda falls into the players lap a little to fast. It doesn't take long until top dog and the world rests upon your shoulders. This could be helped by a guild manegment that is a tad more interesting. Maybe I haven't played long enough, but there isn't much to do in regards to manegment and growth of the guild. It would also be interesting if you had to struggle a little to become a guild leader and owning your own ship.

=Items end fighting=

Thirdly, the fighting system is interesting enough, even though its quite obvious who is next, something signifying turn order (mobs) might help people plan out combat a bit more easily. There is a issue in regards to the items you equip aswell, both for your characters and ship. It isn't very clear and sometimes missleading. An example of this is the ship hull upgrade that seem like it should protect your cargo but it doesn't seem to. This could be helped with more Information on the items you could buy.

Another note on the subject, I think it would be more interesting if all characters had seperate equipment. Having three slots to fill which equips the whole team doesn't allow for strategy within the team itself, except for the consumables that is.

=General gameplay=

Forthly, as mentioned above, a more indepth guild system would, i think, improve gameplay quite a bit. Not only that, it would most likely help both the sense of progression aswell as help with pacing aswell. Things like upgrading your guildhouse with usefull things like a forge for example or taking contracts getting renown, sending people on missions, rewarding guildmates, Maybe even help upgrade the town, like in Breath of Fire for SNES.

Another note, when flying the airship away from islands the screen goes red. I think it is palovian conditioning but i thought i was taking damage and for an embaressingly long time (5 - 8 minutes) I tried to figure out what was damaging me. Maybe it's just me, but if not, Having a different way of showing your entering a "danger zone" might be perferable.

The Red Tint is to warn you that you're going out of bounds in the exploration area... stay in there for too long and the giant monster fish (Cloudking) will come and wreck your ship until you get back in-bounds. So you're right in regards to it meaning you're taking damage...it just didn't happen yet cause you must of re-entered the safe zone.

Though yeah, some explanation in-game would help...i suspect it will be put in down the road as DC gets feedback from everyone. :)

Until then, i wrote up a sort of beginners guide post here...feel free to check if out if you're confused on some basics. :)

Yes, I took me around 5-8 minutes to figure out it was a warning, I thought damage was delt to me without a clear source. I was also "running" from the monster so i thought maybe he had som kind of damage aura or something. During years of playing games, a screen turning red usally means your taking damage which is why i feelt it was confusing.

Having said all that, thank you for the respons ^^. And your guide was very well put together!
