Title says it all.. Is Rivals coming to GOG?
I also would like to know !
It would surprise me if it wasn't here on the first day. Stardock lives by its DLC (I know Rivals isn't technically dlc but same principal). Not selling at the same time as everywhere else would be a shocker.

That said, if it didn't come to GoG immediately it would likely be a technical hangup with the editor. I know it uses Steamworks and I have no idea how reliant it is on Steam's API.

At worst it might be delayed - not coming here at all would be unthinkable.
And I got confirmation by a dev:

[EDIT] Correction, not a dev but still a Stardock employee.

Is Rivals going to make the original game irrelevant like Fallen Enchantress Legendary Heroes did to Fallen Enchantress?

Depends. If you didn't like the balance changes of Legendary Heroes then Fallen Enchantress isn't quite so irrelevant. Likewise if you don't like the changes in Rivals then you'll still want the original Sorcerer King.

But yes, for the most part Rivals is meant to replace the original Sorcerer King.
