When I attempt to Run Sorcerer King, I get an icon that the PC is working on something, but nothing ever launches. I have updated my drivers and re-installed the game to no avail. I used the GOG downloader, not galaxy if that makes a difference, but I ran the file integrity check and it was fine. Running on win7 64bit with an Nvidia card.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this problem. Can you download and run the tool below:

http://sd.stardock.com/Support/supportToolTest/SDSupportTool.exe

Then attach the .zip that's created and send it in with a ticket to support. With your ticket, if you could also link to this forum post, it would be most helpful:

Turns out I had some data files in program data from the GOG galaxy program I uninstalled, once I deleted that everything worked fine.

I was just going to ask you that. Older versions of Galaxy didn't uninstall cleanly and current versions of the .dll do not seem to fail gracefully. I've seen the problem with a few other games.

Oh excellent! Thank you for responding with the fix. I'm sure it will help some other users since we just dropped SK onto GoG :D
I have the same problem here and I was wondering what's the folder in which I may find the faulty dll?

Partial info. You can also update Galaxy and then uninstall it.
