Hallo everyone,

As soon as I got Soma I immediately tried using my generic gamepads (I have 3) to play it but I can't get them to work. Everytime I open the game to try,any controller is never responsive.

Here is what I've tried:

I make sure to have drivers up to date.
I used x360e to ensure the controller is working and have tried many different settings in that programm. (I've used x360e in other games as well so i have gotten it to work before, even though its a mysterious programm for me still)
I tried using the controller without x360e (both simple x360e and x64)
I tried launching the game in admin mode and without it.

Keyboard and mouse are working fine but not even a single button is recognized from my controller when opening the game.

Anyone know what's going on?

Cheers :)

I would forget it!

I've struggled for 50 minutes and finally uninstalled it. The biggest load of tosh going, no wonder it's free. Controls are hopeless, whoever designed it ought to be sacked. So glad I didn't pay for it.
its not about the game its about the gamepad. i wonder if my works. i will try it. i use a ps3 controller with SCP-drivers.

edit: works flawlessly. :)

SCP-driver for any controller / gamepad rocks. :)

same problem here with a Hama Double Action GamePad. What is a NPC driver and where can I get it? I'm running SOMA on WIndows 7 64-bit.

Does it really works for any device? Because description and documentation of the project clearly state that it's a DInput wrapper for Sony PS3/PS4 pads. I have Saitek P2600 for example.

it works for my ps3 controller. but im very sure because normally ps3 and pc are not compatible. So it should work with the most.
