Here are some of tested and suggested mods for Soldiers Heroes of WWII. If you have more that you'd like to share here is the exact place. Note. It is better to test each mod with gog installer first before you add new one to this topic.
1. Storm over Europe Real Warfare Mod v1.8
This modification changes the gameplay totally to real warfare environment. We added new tanks, vehicles, weapons, cannons, multiplayermaps, singleplayermaps, campaigns, sounds and much more stuff.

4. Afrika '42 Mod
This all new Community Mod containing content from a variety of community members, has a number of new SP missions, plus a load of MP maps to add even more content to your Original copy of Soldiers: HOWWII.

I installed the Africa mod and have a question. Is it supposed to turn my soldiers game into Africa and the such, or did I just fuck my game up?

I know this is fairly old but having been disappointed with most games at current I dug Heroes out once more for the fun, since it is a great game afterall.
I then realised I could download mods to enhance the game play and prolong its longevity.
However, I downloaded Direct Engagement- Behind enemy lines, Afrika '42 and Storm over Europe only to find that the only mod that appears is the Afrika '42 mod.
Do I have to have only one installed at one time in order for them to work?

Geat game now that i finally got it installed- but i do have one problem- i tried to install the 1.8 realism mod and the game will load up but won't load to a profile i get a popup box that dispalys for about 1 second before the game shuts down- some thing about mortar and maybe explosioon radius exception. Do i ned to update the gog version of the game to get the realism mod to work- or should it work on the gog version of them game?

Can anyone point me to a camera mod? All my searches turn up broken links. All I want is to zoom in and out further without changing anything else. The camera is the only thing keeping me from really enjoying the game.
