When you buy a gift on GOG it generates a gift key, so you can just send it to your own email address & then send the gift key to me via PM.

Send the gift to your own email address - the generated gift key will be shown at the checkout in addition to being sent to the email address, and you will also be able to find it under orders & settings. From there simply copy & paste it into a private message to me. To start a private conversation with someone hover the mouse over their name and select "Start conversation" (you may need to change your chat settings under privacy & settings to allow messages with everyone)

Check your account settings. Privacy and Settings --> Privacy --> Allow chat messages from

Mine is set to "everyone"

Thanks man. It finally works. When testing it, the game intro movie before the main menu would be black.

As mentioned in the release notes, videos don't work properly when using a widescreen resolution and it doesn't look like there's any way to fix or work around it aside from running the game in 4:3 or 5:4 aspect ratio :/

The native Loki port can be actually made to install AND work almost flawlessly even on a modern system.
Got to jump through a few hoops for that though.
Still better than wine IMO

if it's a hack of the original binary then no ofc
but for someone who wants to try the game out the native original would suffice I think. works really smooth (once you get it to work that is )).

SOFPlus provides a lot of fixes and enhancements - it's a much better experience than playing "basic" SOF :)

i've read once sometime back through it - mostly online play I gathered then.
anyway the *experience* for me was OK in vanilla (1.06 or whatever patch)
the game itself tho... not so much ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
