Hi there,

does anybody know why SNK released all Code Mystics ports here, except Last Blade 2?
They don't want to take the flair from Samurai Shodown in times of franchise revival? :)

It would be great to have LB2 on Gog next to SSVSp and MotW even though its netcode hasn't been updated...

I'm perfectly aware it's not to up to Code Mystics, nevertheless it's strange that for some reason LB2 remains Steam exclusive.

Hey. I think nobody really knows besides SNK and maybe CM. Would be cool to get at least some snippet of information regarding that. The last blade 1 and 2 are my absolute favourites fighters from neogeo era (not that I'm good at them or anything). It's true that they always lived in the shadow of SamSho series, which is a darn shame if you ask me as I love the design, thought that went into it and overall vibe way more in TLB games.

I've asked this same question as you a good couple of times on various forums, sent an email but never got any solid answer as to what the masterplan is regarding this series or exclusion of some games. I do have TLB1 here, TLB2 on steam but would love to have it on gog too. It's the most deserving place for games like these, although the online aspect won't muster the same numbers as on the larger platform, as unfortunate as it may be.

There are 3 PC vendors I know of that offer neogeo snk games: gog, humblebundle, steam. Gog and HB offer the largest collections, steam has considerably limited availability:

Steam has TLB2 and KoF'97 iirc that are exclusives there, but they lack like a half of other games.

HB has Neo turf masters exclusive afaik. However their ports mostly (if not all of them) run on some basic emulator and do not feature CM's ports etc. Maybe it's stripped down dotemu or hb's own launcher, I don't know.

GoG imo has the best supported collection, missing only TLB2, KoF97 and Neo turf masters. Would be rad to have them here as well. Hopefully one day we can play as Hibiki here too and be merry! ;)

That's great! Thanks for the heads up!
No rom in this?

I searched, but not found it.
I'm not particularly familiar with Cod Mystics' work, so I'd love if someone could shed some light on the topic.
Are they closer to DigitalEclipse/Backbone or closer to M2's standards? Or are they as good as FBNeo emulation?
Do we get BIOS settings like the ones in UNIBIOS? Or it's like an AES where you just have the game itself?
What are the screen options? From the screenshots they have borders, so does that mean it's pixel perfect?
