I updated to the latest version and now the game freezes after I die. The game gets stuck on the after death screen and no matter what I press or how long I wait, I cannot get back to the game. It just stays on the screen that says ""you have been Slain".

Also, there is some graphical issues with the liquids in the game. I made a post before mentioning this.

I'm on winxp.

The game runs fine up until I die and the minor graphic glitch with the liquids.

Same here.
Forced to alt/tab out of the game
Me three. The only thing I can do after dying is to hit ALT+F4 to forcibly exit the game.
Can you guys please state the OS you're experiencing this issue on? It might help the dev/GOG track down the issue.

As for me, I'm running the game on Linux and haven't encountered this problem.
Sorry that you've been having this issue guys!
It's very likely that the problem is occurring because of the game attemping and failing to unlock an achievement (in this case it's the achievement for dying for the first time). The game should be working as DRM Free, so when it fails to unlock an achievement then it shouldn't be a problem. It's odd that this is happening!
I will look into it and see what I can do. Letting me know which OS you're using would be very helpful too!
Also, do you have the GOG Galaxy client running when these problems occur? If not try having that open and see if that helps.

Thanks for checking in. My specs are: AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (ca. 2.0 GHz), 2.5 GB RAM, Radeon 9550 256MB, WinXP SP3. Not running Galaxy, forgive me but I'm not planning on installing the client just for testing purposes.

Could you also look at the problem I posted about here please? I mentioned the issues I'm having over on Steam as well. Thank you!

I'm using an older winxp sp3 with stock vid drivers. Sorry I don't know much about specs. Here is what I found though.

Computer:
Genuine Intel CPU
T2050 @ 1.60GHz
1.32 GHz, 2.99 GB Ram

OpenGL 1.4

I did not have this issue before the update. Also, not using GOG Galagy.

The game runs fine otherwise (aside from the one graphical glitch that I mentioned before). It chugs a little at higher resolutions, but otherwise pretty playable on lower resolutions.

Thanks for looking into it.
Any updates on this issue?

It's been nearly a week now since the last response.

Waiting for an update as well. Nothing yet over on Steam as well.
Got the same problem on my system. The game is unfortunally unplayable in this state.
It would be nice if the devs could give us a hint if a solution is in sight...
Purchased it few hours ago and ran into the same issue.
Running Windows 7 x64, 8GB RAM, Intel I5.
Too frustrating....
still no news/update on this?
I can't believe this still hasn't been addressed. My money is on the fact that it's a dead simple fix. I've asked GOG for a refund if this isn't resolved or at least acknowledged.
