EverNightX: I've been playing on Linux and have had zero problems with the game so that's another option.
EverNightX, I guess the game never had any problems on Linux or Mac. It's only the latest Windows version (gog installer 16908) that freezes if you happen to run the game on Windows 10 and die. Many people reported the same problem on Windows 7 as opposed to a few who somehow managed to play the game just fine on that system. I don't know if it works properly on Windows 8.

OK. I was just pointing out that since the current version is running well on Linux that it was an option for running the game.
