I encountered this bug and it was unfixable on my GPD WIN 1. Then installed in on another PC and game then played fine. Unknown what the issue is. GOG support was not able to reproduce this bug when I submitted a ticket either. At least that is what they told me. So, you might have to just try to install it in another PC and see if you can then play it.

had to buy steam edition it works
