As the topic states: Is Trinity still coming to GOG? It is not listed as a coming soon game anymore.

I don't know, but it does not make much sense to publish Trinity when Rebellion is already available which is basically Trinity 1.5...

I know, but it was on the "coming soon list". And it might be interesting for people who want to play vanilla, Entrenchment, Diplomacy without the Rebellion stuff. At least this is GOG and there might be some customers here who want to play the old version. ;)

Yeah, best thing they could do is bundle Trinity with Rebellion, so you could choose whichever you want to play.

I wish they would make this an option. I really liked the simplicity of vanilla Sins of a Solar Empire.

I just realised that the Wishlist entry says the release is "in progross". Maybe that has not been changed since the announcement got canceled or there might be something happening...

If it's just that you're wanting a DRM free version of Trinity, then try looking for a retail disc version of the game. The retail disc version of the game had no DRM on it. No activation requirement and didn't require the disc in the drive to play. I know because I still have my original disc copy. Then just download the update patches for it online.

If they are refusing to release the last DLC content/expansion for Sins 2 Rebellion, do you really believe they would even bother with the first sins game? Gog users apparently aren't worth the effort. ;/
