I bought Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion on Steam back before it was available on GOG and ever since the GOG release I've really been looking forward to get it on GOG through the GOG Connect because I don't like the annoying DRM in the Steam version. Well, now it is available on GOG Connect, but when I click Refresh and then hover over Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion Ultimate Edition is says "Not found in your Steam Library".

I don't understand, I have Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion with the Forbidden Worlds and Stellar Phenomena add-ons in my Steam Library, and I'm pretty sure the Outlaw Sectors add-on is not part of the Ultimate Edition, so why isn't it working?

Do I need to buy the Outlaw Sectors add-on on Steam for it to work? I don't have the soundtrack on Steam, do I need to buy that? Do I need both Outlaw Sectors and the soundtrack? Is there a problem with the system?

Some other users have reported their games not being detected either, notably Metro 2033 Redux and Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion:

If other people have been successful in getting Sins through GOG Connect please say so and maybe specify which add-ons were bought on Steam.

Thanks.

I'm adding my +1 to this. I also have Sins with all the DLC, which were individually bought. Connect doesn't recognize that I own the "Ultimate" edition. I'm assuming it's because we don't own the Soundtrack addon...
I have the actual Ultimate Edition and I still can't get it to my GOG account. I've sent in a ticket to support though.
Yeah, I have the same problem. I own SOASE plus the DLC comprising the GOG Ultimate Edition (including the soundtrack) on Steam, and it doesn't show up.

Steam states that the Ultimate Edition includes the soundtrack. However, I agree that this is rather annoying. I own the first two pieces of DLC and not the soundtrack and fully expected that GOG Connect would work. I'm disappointed it doesn't. I could spend $10 to get the soundtrack, but looking at these comments, I'm not sure it would even work then, and I really don't want the soundtrack for $10...
Make sure to try hitting refresh on the GOG Connect page. Meaning, the literal refresh button on page to re-check your owned Steam packages, not refresh as in "load the page again via the web browser."

Same situation. It is annoying. I don't know what the trigger is for this to show up in connect.
Same here. May be GOG checks certain Steam subscription of Ultimate Edition pack, so it doesn't work for those, who bought the game and DLCs separately.

Same here. I tried to post yesterday, but for an unknown reason, it won't work with Firefox mobile.

Here is what I was about to write (or what I had already written, as a matter of fact):

-----------------------------------
Topic: About the same title

Is there something wrong on my side? Do I own the wrong game version?
This is one of my favourite games, and owning it on GOG would make it easier to play on wine.
(Still hoping for a Linux build of the galaxy client, btw :D -- I can help if that's needed)

My steam profile is visible at steamcommunity.com/id/mayeulc

Best regards, and thanks in advance!
I have the same issue whith 2 games, sins, i have all the dlc, and Worms World Party... :(
I was looking after this also, wandering why connect doesn't show i have the game on steam....then i remembered i never bought the last dlc, outlaws sectors :S

Mistery solved for me, my fault :S
+ (whatever number I would be)

Exact same situation as OP.

But Outlaw Sectors shouldn't matter, as it isn't included in the Ultimate Edition on GOG.
