Please don't swear. You may have payed money for the game, but you dont own it. Have you read the EULA? It is surely stated there that you're violating the terms of usage if you modify the program in any way shape or form. So the crack is illegal. Period. Doesn't matter what you think is right or wrong. On that basis you could have pirated the thing in the first place. Don't you get that at all?

By the way something else: you're saying that you can make the games work forever. Okay. Enlighten us. If it's that easy it makes me wonder why the team at GOG has so much trouble getting some of the older games working on current operating systems.

I meant that Mass Effect will never come to GOG.com DRM Free, the team at GOG couldn't even get RealMyst to work on 7, all you have to do is set the compatibility mode to XP SP3

ok im sorry its just I bought SimCity couldn't get it to work found a workaround bitched at EA and they shut down Maxis, its not fair

Do you think this compatibility setting will be there forever in all future Windows versions? Just like 16-bit support is still there ... ah, wait a minute, it has been removed from all 64-bit Windows versions.
