nbinney: When I quit the game, it hangs at the DOS prompt with the quote "You are now leaving SimCity".

The only way I've found to exit to windows is to Alt+Enter to disable full screen and 'X' out of dosbox. Am I missing anything obvious, shouldn't this be closing on it's own?
Please send that error message along to our Support department and we'll see where the problem lies. Thanks :D
We uploaded a new version of the SimCity 2000 SE installer that should have things like Will TV working again. Please re-download the installer and let us know if everything goes smoothly.

korell: I'll give this a try too as I noticed I wasn't getting a clean exit what with it stopping on a black DOSBox screen and needing an Alt-Enter to put it into a Window that I could then close.

Also, last week I sent in a request to GOG support giving information on how to get the Windows version of SimCity 2000 up and running on modern Windows OSes (e.g. fixes for load/save dialog, registry entries required, etc). Any idea if it might be possible to use this information to get the Windows version here? I'd imagine you guys would have to test it on your machines first, so wouldn't expect to get it here quickly, and of course I don't know if there are any licensing issues with you providing the Windows version. Either way, though, if I could find out if the information I sent was of use, and whether or not the Windows version could be provided, that would be great.
Rest assured that once you send in that kind of information, it doesn't get lost or forgotten. Please note that we are constantly tweaking our past releases but some of them take time or they can't be tweaked no matter how much we poke, prod, beg, and plead for something to work :D. I don't deal with the technical side of things too much myself and thus I can't really say when or if the Windows version will be coming round soon. If things work out and we have the go ahead, we'll put it up at no extra charge :D
