I'm using the original CD version, it install alright but the moment I try to open the game I see Silver's symbol and the game crashes giving me this error
DDERR_GENERIC

Does anyone here knows a solution?

Try to force V-sync for the game, it fixed some of problems like that for me. Im running it on win 10 and i got the Original Cd version

i have the same error, the v-sync solve it ? if yes , how to force this v-sync (can't reach the ingame option menu, the game crash before)
