teceem: Were they not supposed to be displayed in 21:9?

JustanotherArda: But 1366*768 is 16:9, maybe that's why I am seeing black bars in cutscenes.
Most/many movies (DVD/Bluray/etc.) are 21:9 too, while TVs are 16:9. It's a cinematic choice, made by the makers.

Oh, ok then. Anyway, a fan made fix can solve my problems, I guess. I'll try them, thanks for helping.

Just seen that there was a hotfix, it's fixed the pixelated background when you pause, which is very nice.

DV2FOX: 7. Fix ALT+TABbing on Windows 10 (1909 latest version, NOT 2004) causing hard crashes , forcing you to reboot your PC manually via tower button
Works fine if you set it to Windowed (=fullscreen borderless here).
For controller support - add proper analog camera and movement for gamepad.
Brightness bug has been added to the list.

Thanks, I'm using this patch and it made the FMV videos awesome. For the in-game cutscenes, I'll stick to Steam006's patch until it's solved officially or I find a solution without an additional patch needed.
I can't turn left or right using the mouse in third person mode outside of the apartment while it's working just fine in first person mode in the apartment. Not sure why it's not working by default for both.

Also in first person mode the sensitivity for looking around using the mouse seems to be too high. Maybe there is some way to include some mouse config options as well through the "SH4Config" tool so you could tweak some stuff.

I would also propose fixing resolution setting for first start of the game.

To explain it a bit deeper, for my requested resolution is for the first time needed:
1. Set 640x480 in "DirectX Setting" tool
2. Start game and set requested resolution in game (e.g. full hd)
3. Set requested resolution in "DirectX Setting" tool

Otherwise when I started game in 1920x1080 I saw picture only on part of my monitor and I could not set it in menu, since I did not see what is active.

Umm AFAIK there is no turning via mouse in the 3rd person mode.

I know. My point is that it should be possible to add it since the first person mode already has it. Being able to use the mouse for turning in third person too would be a huge improvement.
