Using the PRACX 1.09V patch the game seems to run really well and i'm able to Window Capture it with no issue at all whether that be in either windowed or borderless window mode... However, my issue comes with the cutscenes as it seems that the cutscenes force fullscreen mode and push my OBS screen out of my second monitor so i'm not sure whether or not i'm actually capturing the cutscene...

Is there anyway i can make it so I'm able to capture the cutscenes for my stream? Since most of the enjoyment i get from this game is from the well done cutscenes and amazing personality and quotes of the factions.

Yes

If I would a pain in the butt I would stop here ;)

If you edit the userprofile.txt you will find a line

FullScreenMovies=Yes

and

TryWindowsResolution=No

As usual word of warning: Do not use wordpad but notepad or similar.

End to make it simpler to find the file:

D:\GOGGames\Call To Power 2\ctp2_program\ctp

just replace the first part where ever you installed it ;)

You are right.

Blame me and my slightly malfunction mouse........

But now ;)

out of the readme:

DirectDraw=0
Settings this to 0 disables DirectDraw. This disables the automatic window resolution resizing during program launch.

MOVIE PERFORMANCE

If your computer has problems playing some of the in-game movies, verify that you are not using any 16-bit real mode drivers for the CD-ROM drive. You can check this by opening the Control Panel and choosing the System settings. Under the Performance tab, there is a line for File System. This should read 32-bit. If it has anything else in that line, contact the manufacturer of your CD-ROM drive for updated Windows 95/98 drivers. If you still experience problems playing movies, try adding 'DirectDraw=0' to the Alpha Centauri.ini file in the install directory.

Out of the original readme, not sure if it is with the GOG version as well ( I still have an original install from CD ;) )

My apologies ;)
