Trying to find the faction editor for mac. Tried the previous helped question that was posted on this forum but still can't run or find the editing app. Anyone know how to get to it and run it for Mac?

basilnonion,

Would
help if you would be a bit more precise. Do YOU expect us to hunt down which post/app you MIGHT be referring too?

(I know it is right in your mind, but not in ours ;) )

My bad. Since I posted in the SM Alpha Centauri forum, I would assume most would know what topic I was talking about.

It's the Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri app. Crossfire included (though I've read that the faction editor would not run for crossfire)

Yes, you are in the SMAC forum ;)

BUT for example I am using Win as well as let's say it easy non-Win ;)

How, I mean really how, shall I guess which app you are referring too ;)

IIRC even on non-WIN, all data is stored in txt-files, which means you can edit them in any editor (vi-included) ;)

So, if you say app (which translate to A PROGRAM ;) ) how shall we know which one you mean ;)

Never assume what you do not know for sure ;)

And because of the simple txt file format is not really a big problem ;)

So just incase normally you should be able to open any faction (in like vi) and edit them as you like ;)

Yes, no pun intended ;)

And yes, it is sometimes hard to predict/assume what somebody wants ;)
