Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment and Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove

With the new version I can not play. All keys on the keybord seems totally confused. The Return key behaves like Escape. No chance to navigat in the menus. I have to press "L" to get a reaction like "Return". What is going on?

  o Vsync Legacy Improvements


Shovel of Hope / Plague of Shadows

  o Fix: If save data became mismatched, corrupted or otherwise unintentionally altered during a version update, the player could start on the level map farther than they could progress (past level locks, under the fog of unrevealed areas, etc). In these rare error cases, the game will now start the player on the Village instead.

King of Cards
  o Fix: Duelist Di appearing twice during tower airship scene under certain circumstances.
  o Fix: King being able to jump after performing a bash into certain Heirloom attacks.
  o Fix: Dying and landing on a certain platform in World 2's Bonus Stage would cause the stage to advance.
  o Fix: Being able to escape the stage’s bounds in Void Crater.
  o Fix: Joustus would crash when forfeiting while cards were being removed during a turn.
  o Fix: 3rd Joustus House boss would get stuck trying to begin the match.

Was the GOG version updated with this one just now? Or was it there already and it's only now that you're posting?
No, as you can see these are changes from 2019 ... I am trying to get all changelogs in up to the current release
which I will mark with the current version in offline installer ...
Unfortunately GOG has currently problems and the 3rd changelog is loading forever for 2nd time ... not nice, but common.

The current one is the 1st March 2021 Update (Arby's) from Offline Installer on 15.04.2021:
Treasure Trove 4_1_36252 => 4_1b_arby_s_46298 !

Hope this helps ... and that my posting get through this time ...

A new Shovel Knight update is here to keep your Showdown duels sharp and your Joustus battles jubilant!

Shovel Knight Design Series
But first... have you ever thought about what we think about when making games? Well, think no longer!

Just how did King Knight get his wall-bouncing bash attack or his high-flying acrobatic spins!? Drill into this mobility mechanics deep dive as we explore the illustrious inspirations behind our gilded goon!

Now that Treasure Trove is complete, we've had a chance to codify some of the level-design rules and practices we've come to value over the years. We hope this article series provides a bit of insight!

New Modes!
We’d like to fill you in on some way cool upcoming changes to Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove. And no, we’re not adding any more campaigns!

First up is Character Gauntlet, an all-new addition to Showdown’s “targets” mode. In this mode, your character will be randomly changed every time you hit a bonus target. It really tests your mastery of all the fighters. It’s supported for cooperative play too, so you can work together with a friend to achieve that elusive high score.

Oh…one more thing. Have you ever wanted to play Joustus with a friend? There’s a new secret mode where you can! If you press up in front of the mirror in King Knight’s room, now you can setup decks, board layouts, and more and play against a friend to your heart’s content.

With these changes and other bug fixes, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is forever completed! Thank you everyone for all your support along the way!

  o Fix: Final Red Skull turn-in scene would behave unintentionally when using certain cheats.
  o Fix: Crash could occur if Hoppicles was pushed onto Big Bohto.

King of Cards
  o New! Added Joustus Free Play mode! Go to King Knight’s room and speak with the mirror to begin.
  o New! In New Game+, gold multiplier info has been added to the level map menu.
  o Change: An exit sign post has been added to the single screen treasure area in world 2.
  o Change: When stealing back a previously lost, non-infinite, non-unique card after a Joustus victory, an entry for that card will always be removed from Chester’s Reclaim list. Previously, if the opponent had a copy of that card in their deck, then stealing the copy would cause your stolen card to remain within the store.
  o Change: Blazorb is no longer required for 100% Joustus opponent victory.
  o Fix: King Knight not responding to spikes if he was bashing while wind was pushing downward.
  o Fix: Replaying Joustus tutorial would unintentionally count as defeating a unique card opponent, incrementing the card battle total on the Profile Select screen.
  o Fix: Playing the Joustus tutorial no longer has an effect on Joustus stats.
  o Fix: Could avoid damage from Crowndalier by bashing it while it is falling directly overhead.
  o Fix: Mr. Hat could be pushed out of the arena if damaged during certain attack states.
  o Fix: Treasure Knight would sometimes aim away from center screen when performing Anchor Shot Zip Slam near edge of the arena, which could result in becoming stuck.
  o Fix: Final boss first phase could be cleared with certain timing which resulted in the second phase starting with the player player taking damage immediately.
  o Fix: Final boss second phase would sometimes begin with an unintentional downward laser shot into the void.
  o Fix: Beginning a roll from bash will reset the attack hold timer, even if the Attack action is bound to two separate buttons.
  o Fix: Turncoat effect not following King Knight correctly during screen transition.
  o Fix: Turncoat roll could send the player through a collision ceiling when jumping.

Showdown
  o New! Added a special command to access gauntlet target mode! Once all characters are unlocked, begin a target battle while holding "Left Parry and Special" when the VS screen disappears. You will know the cheat was successful when you see CHARACTER on the HUD in place of HIGH SCORE.
  o Change: When Theme Shuffle is on, Target Mode has the possibility of playing a wider variety of music.
  o Fix: No longer able to fall between lava/goo during its transition
  o Fix: Targets combo meter could remain stuck at 1.0 for the entire round on first play.
  o Specter Knight: Fix for unintentional height gain when trying to throw a second sickle after wall jumping into collision.
  o Specter Knight: Wall climb back flip and scythe slash have a heavier fall, to better scale with the increased climb height in Showdown.
  o King Knight: Fixed unintentional velocity when using Rat Dismiss right after hitting a wall with Bash.
  o Black Knight: Fixed unintentional movement when canceling goo target shovel bounce into Dark Wave.
  o Mole Knight: Now breaks dirt blocks below when exiting from a submerged digpile.
  o Propeller Knight: Now limited to 3 uses of headwind in the air.
  o Propeller Knight: Holding down Attack button while releasing Special would unintentionally cause Headwind state to continue.
  o The Enchantress: Fixed issue where Enchantress could pass through the Airship in armor outpost with Dark Strafe.
  o The Enchantress: Being far above the HUD causes horizontal/upward Dark Strafes to fizzle out, and results in lesser kickback when shooting Magic Shot downward.
  o The Enchantress: Minor animation jitter fixes when using flight and Magic Shot on the ground.
  o Reize: Boomerang Throw downward will no longer be destroyed when thrown from above the screen top
  o Dark Reize: Aerial Dark Boomerang Throw will no longer be destroyed when thrown from above the screen top.
  o Liquid Samurai: Arrow shots can now break dirt blocks.
  o Liquid Samurai: Now limited to 3 uses of Claw Spin before needing to touch the ground.
  o Liquid Samurai: Increased time before Claw Spin can cancel into Blob Form. When canceling Claw Spin to Blob Form, slightly less height is gained then usual.
  o Liquid Samurai: Fixed facing away from a wall, beginning claw spin, then coming into contact with wall would cause you to bounce towards the wall.
  o Liquid Samurai: Fixed error which allowed Liquid Samurai to zip-to-ceiling endlessly when exiting ceiling with Claw Spin.
  o Liquid Samurai: Fixed arrow shot not ending in the air if pushed off ledge during sword weapon transformation.

Just a minor update today!

  o New: Added cheat code C&KEEPM which when activated reduces the amount of gold dropped on death to zero.
  o Showdown Fix : Activating Unlock All (Permanent) code and then achieving a Showdown unlock objective would not unlock the corresponding Steam Achievement.
  o Change: Steam Sync within the Feats menu will now unlocks Showdown Steam Achievements which failed to be awarded due to the above issue.
  o Change: Steam Achievements which feature unlockable Showdown characters on Steam are no longer "hidden".
