Very recently, someone on github's gamedev discussion board edited the directinput dll file for the game to deliberately switch a "show mouse" flag to false. You can find it available for download here:

https://github.com/elishacloud/dxwrapper/issues/54

Scroll to the bottom and download the dinput.zip and extract into your Shogo root folder. That's it! No janky "invisible mouse cursor files" or trying to live with it.

Along with dgVoodoo2, the WSGF Custom Widescreen Rez file, and the pre-fixed AM18.dll for music, the last of Shogo's persistent Win10 problems is resolved.

I can confirm this fixed the issue for me. Thanks!

THANK YOU for this! The flickering mouse was giving me something between 30-40fps, this fixes that performance problem also!
