Has anyone managed to get this working on Windows 7 64-bit?

EDIT: To anyone still having this problem; have you tried a non-GOG version of the game? I did, and this one works almost perfectly("almost" because no level music is played, but oh well).

I keep getting mfc applicaiton has stopped working for all old lithtech engine games

avp2 and no one lives forever in particular. i have no idea how to fix it
Win7 64bit w/ nvidia card here.
I've had APPCRASH reproducable on the end of level "The hidden fortress".
I've disabled my second monitor and doing that, and exactly that only, helped:

Ok wtf, has this happened to anyone else?
I was tinkering around with the GOG version of Shogo, trying out different settings to make it work. At first I got all the usual 'MFC client has stopped working', small black screen with mouse stuck in the left corner bullshit. But then lo and behold my surprise and excitement when I SEMINGLY GOT IT WORKING! The intro movie played and the menu seemed to work fine too.
Problem is... IT ONLY WORKED ONCE! I didn't start a new game, I just clicked around a bit in the menu and then decided to quit and restart the game to see if I really had gotten it to work or if it was just some fluke. I tried to start it via GOG galaxy like I did before, but the 'Play' button was greyed out for some reason, so I restarted my PC and now I'm back to the usual MFC client bullshit, even though the compability settings I used are the same.
Really weird

EaglePoLsKa: ...2 hours of testing, see the image and check all the boxes exactly the same, as they are. It will be now fully working, beer for me :)

honx: has this issue ever been repaired?
The answer seems to be no since I'm having the same issue.
so much for support...
Still happening. Windows 7, 64 bit. GTX 770.
Apologies for the slight necrobump, but I just followed the picture from the OP and I changed the resolution displays on the launcher to be the same (For me, I set them to '1600x900x16) and everything miraculously worked! For those who are curious, I am running on a Windows 7 64 bit OS.

Again, follow the picture from the OP, and at the launcher, select "Display" and on the currently selected renders (The top list), set the resolutions to your desired setting, in both display options (The bottom list).

Once you set the display options, switch to the other render option and do the same thing there. Its a bit odd, but it is working for me like a charm. I hope this helps any body else who is having this issue!

I didn't have problems until like the second to last level and this seems to have fixed it. Thanks!
