As the title says. Love this game and I really want to play it again but as I'm sure you all know that it does not perform well on Windows 8.1 at all! And I cant seem to find any fixes :/

Well, the game is not listed as compatible with Win 8.1 on the game card, so don't expect an easy solution.

My best advice - try to run it in virtual machine.

That's too bad, 8.1 is really a step up from 8.

Enable optimized surfaces (advanced in launcher app), disable light mapping (in game advanced display options) and use this patch:

In the beginning areas I played I got 100+ FPS.

I just copied the two dlls from MS folder to root of the game, in launcher under Display i selected LithTech Direct 3D renderer and dgVoodoo display and voila. One thing, the game itself runs max in 1280x720 resolution for me, so maybe if you want higher resolution, you need tinker with that dgVoodooSetup.exe.

Works on Windows 10 when the glide wrappers don't. Thanks for an awesome solution!
