alissajunebug: I have found all the lids/pots except the electrical lid (internet says this happens during the endgame) and the wax lid. The wax lid seems to have vanished from the game; I have checked every lid/pot location again and again. Supposedly there was supposed to be a lid/pot in the giant eagle's next, but I have checked there several times to no avail. Has anyone else had problems with this?

The Electric Lid will be by the chute you'll slide down after you've caught all other Ixupi. When you've caught all other 9 Ixupi, the electric panel should be accessible. Click on the middle switch, and it'll reveal a niche where Beth's body is hidden. She will be clutching the rest of the torn page from "Egyptian Hyroglyphics Explained". Go up to "Man's Inhumanity to Man" and you will be able to activate the guillotine. Go into the Puzzle Room, and after you've activated all six skulls (check the pamphlet), a large disc with the same symbol as on the page and guillotine blade should be jutting out. Click on it, and you'll plummet down a long, winding chute. You'll come out right behind the receptionist desk. Turn around, and you should see the lid for the Electric Ixupi.
In all the times I've played the game, I've never found a jar/lid in the eagle's nest.
I've found them in the following locations:
1. Inside one of the desk drawers (always the lid for Ash)
2. Inside the central mask in the lobby
3. Behind the curtain in the theater (you have to watch the movie)
4. In the dragon's mouth in the clock tower
5. In the marble statue in the library (climb the ladder, pull out the large book)
6. Inside the plinth that raises up when activating Poseidon's Sphere (also has the museum floorplans)
7. On top of the archway in the tar pits (you'll have to capture the tar/oil Ixupi in order to get to it)
8. After solving the Alchemy machine puzzle
9. Behind the pile of fabric in the utility closet (have to capture the Cloth Ixupi)
10. In the Anansi music box
11. In the casket in the same room as the Anansi music box
12. the second drawer after solving the Chinese Checkers puzzle
13. In front of the skull door in the Puzzle Room
14. At the end of the slide from the Puzzle Room
15. On one of the shelves in the Plants room
16. On one of the shelves in the tiki hut in the Witch Doctor room (very rarely; maybe once or twice)
17. In the spaceship after solving the pictograms puzzle
18. On a stone base underneath the gallows
19. After solving the drawer puzzle in the workroom
20. In one of the cabinets at the base of the bookcases in the library (also very rarely; I think only once or twice)
21. In the sarcophagus after solving the Sphynx's riddle (two obelisks)
22. In the bull statue after solving the Lyre Puzzle
Those are the ones I could come up with off the top of my head.
