I have done this riddle before, but there is something I may be missing?

Where does the expected 28 weight come from?
I get Simple I/O weight 60 at this time, the 32 was cancelled with the button and 0 displayed instead.

p.s. they want me to subtract the value? But this is not what the instruction tell you to do?

A common operation with real scales is to "zero" it by use of a knob or whatever so that it reads zero whatever the weight is on the scale. This adjustment is *permanent* until readjusted, so yes, they want you to subtract the value for all subsequent measurements (that is what they mean by "zero itself").

Was ist einfacher? ;-)
