It is for the Steam version but I assumed it could be valid for the GOG version. When I put it in Spanish, the moment I start a new game, in the first dialog that is shown it is completely without text, in the end the game ends up freezing

Anyone know if there is any way to fix this problem?

MarkoH01: Hi. Unfortunately the patch does not work for the GOG version as it is. However you can apply it to the Steam version and extract the few files that it will patch so you could use them as a patch. I don't own the GOG version but I asked a friend to test which files one would need to patch the GOG version after patching the Steam version. I can patch my steam version to Spanish and send you the necessary files to patch the GOG version into Spanish.

Here you can get the Spanish patched files you need to patch the GOG release.
Ok thank you

Good news, everyone. The Steam multi language patch for Shantae: Risky's Revenge has now been adapted and is now compatible with the GOG version as well!

The patch includes good Spanish, Italian and German localisation (which I tested myself completely) and it comes with translated UI textures for those languages as well. banz99, the patch creator is still looking for a native french person who could help him finish his project by translating the UI into french as well and maybe even proofread the already included french translataion. So if you think you could be this person, feel free to contact banz99 on Steam or - if you don't want to use Steam - sent me a chat and I will contact him and see if there is an alternative way for communication.
