Hi. I've got an Ubuntu 22 LTS System and am trying to install Shadowrun Returns. The GOG Installer freezes the entire system 30 seconds after I accept all the licenses. Why is this happening and is there a fix?

This is very strange: GOG installers for Linux are basically simple shell scripts. Do you get any error in the terminal?

No, nothing of significance. These are the only messages I receive:

>>
sh gog_shadowrun_returns_2.0.0.7.sh

After that I can answer two licence acceptance prompts and then the entire system freezes and I have to cut the power (forced poweroff).
FYI: The exact same thing happens with Shadowrun Hong Kong btw.

I suspect some strange collision for the installer.
When the problem occurs, can you unfreeze the system by using the magic SysRq key or similar methods?
