Yes, there supposed to me extra content:
"Message from GOG.com

Thank you for pre-ordering Shadowrun: Hong Kong! To receive your soundtrack and artbook, please redeem the code below."

It's on my account page. I click on the small arrow (bellow the image of Shadowrun: Hong Kong), than view downloads, there is the code at the bottom of the page.

Darrosquall: seems, but I haven't received even the code to redeem...

Tormentfan: Don't you have a code on the same page as your download links? That's the case for most (?) of the rest of us. The issue that we're experiencing is that the page to redeem the codes doesn't have a 'continue' button so we can't 'continue' with the redemption procedure.
I bought the game around 6pm,one hour before the promotion ended, but I'm full eligible to have the "extra contents". I can say just Shadowrun Hong Kong part 1 and 2.

Cadaver747: Yeap, the discount for Deluxe Edition that is
That's really weird. Then why did they say the pre-order discount was 33% when it is actually, in hindsight, a 50% discount? I would think that would have probably enticed more people to put their money down on it. As I was one of their KS backers, it doesn't really impact me, but there's bound to be a few people who are kicking themselves now.

On a somewhat related note, as for being a KS backer, HBS is only giving us GOG codes for the standard edition. I have access to the OST and the art book through BackerKit, but I find it weird that they didn't give us a choice of getting those items through GOG as well. It's probably only an issue for me, but it's driving my OCD crazy knowing that my GOG version is "incomplete".

Life is weird. Harebrained Schemes decided to include Deluxe Edition for anyone willing to pay for pre-order. 33% discount was made to normal version. Deluxe Edition is a compliment from a company.

So, you're saying GOG didn't know ahead of time that pre-orders were going to get a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition? All the more reason that it's strange that HBS didn't send their eligible backers codes for the upgrade. Ah, well. Que sera, sera.

I think that GOG, Steam and everybody knew about it. Why?

Was it stated that you would get the art book and OST with the pre-order? Was it stated that there would be a standard edition and the deluxe edition? The Deluxe Edition is $29.99, so the pre-order discount would actually be 50% off. I'm just confused about the whole $14.99 / 33% off pre-order price they advertised on the main page.

Yes. At least I saw that coming (see attached)

EDIT: Don't you worry about measly fifteen dollars. In Europe they paid *full* price. Or course it's a joke, but the screenshot is a real deal.

Thank you for the pictures and the clarification. The only part I still find confusing is that the description doesn't tell you how much the Deluxe Edition costs. Saying that the pre-order was a 50% discount versus a 33% discount would certainly have attracted a few more pre-orders. I wonder why they chose not to do that?
Working now.

My brother actually brought me a copy and e-mailed me about it. So basically I didn't need to spend $20 at all. Oh well, I guess it goes to support GOG and the devs at least. And it's a big middle finger to all the DRM devs' arguments too.
