How do you know that the bladed sun should be used on the fourth finger? Is there any clue? I got pass that one by reloading.

There's a clay tablet showing three symbols: a hand, a star (Bladed Sun) and four vertical lines .
It's also mentioned in one of the scripts that these four lines are a chosen symbol for one of the Wizards.
