Hi all,

We have a BUNCH of updates for you for the entire Shadow Warrior series here on GOG :)

Shadow Warrior 2013

Before doing ANYTHING at all, please refresh your account as we have included a separate installer, compatible with Galaxy's autoupdates should you choose to use that particular feature found in Galaxy once it gets released.

This separate installer with the snazzy black cover is the Direct X 11 version of the game for those of you who would like to enjoy the game in native DirectX 11.

To refresh your account, please click this link: https://www.gog.com/account/refresh

Along with the DX11 version, you should now see a Mac DMG and a Linux tarball for Shadow Warrior 2013. If you use Mac or Linux, please download the snazzy new Mac and Linux files, they're fresh out of the oven :)

Bonus content

Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior has been updated. Please take the time to redownload this mini-game :)

You also have the soundtrack in MP3 or lossless FLAC.

For those of you who like artbooks, there is an artbook included in the bonus goodies section of the non-DX11 version of Shadow Warrior 2013.

Changelog for Shadow Warrior 2013:

1.5.0:

- optimized 32 & 64 bit build
- DirectX 11 based graphics
- modified gameplay

1.1.2:

- Fixed rare crash when using alt-tab
- Fixed rare Gozu crash
- Fixed saving weapon fx's when using non standard katana

Shadow Warrior Classic Complete

We've uploaded a new DEB and a tarball for your Linuxing pleasure :) We hope this venerable classic plays well for you under Linux :)

Thanks and have a nice day :)

edit: the non-DX11 version version did not receive patch 1.5.0 so if you would like the latest version, please play the DirectX 11 version Shadow Warrior 2013 :)

Thanks! Was delay with the Linux version caused by GOG QA ironing out issues, or developers not submitting it to GOG right away?

To add a bit more info: The Viscera Cleanup Detail (according to Runestorm) now should be able to save progress (that was the reason I contacted them in the first place). The DX11 version does not work anymore on XP according to the devs. I don't know if you can chose between different versions (still downloading) so it would probably be good not to delete your old installer in case you have made a backup.
Refreshed my account twice right now but only one Shadow Warrior shows up. But that seems to have the new update as well as the artbook so the content seems to be mixed. Should I write to support?

Same here, so please let us know the response.

Same happend for me, but it´s installable on Galaxy Client...
...so I wonder if it does even matter...
The 2013er Shadow Warrior is missing the Linux-'Tag', so it does not show up when filtering for 'linux' in the search box on the shelf.

Account refresh did not work for me either, btw...

Same here but I have already backed up the old installer so no problem for me to only have the new one until this has been fixed.
Same here at the moment.
Refreshed account but still only 1 Shadow Warrior 2013 instead of second with black cover but will wait how it resolves like it was the case with unbundling titles.

Not sure if it improves framerate but even with delay on updates I prefer playing GOG version with Classic katana and Zilla blade which are inaccessible in Steam one. Will re-install the game as soon as I get black cover one on shelf. ;-)

Damn, and here I was waiting for the Shadow Warrior update! :P

My account better not tell me that I have only 1 Shadowrun, otherwise one of them would be missing! :P

The tag should be fixed in about 5 or so minutes. That one was on me :P

It was a case of a lot of devils in a lot of details :P
