BDX777: Are there any engine mods for Shadow Warrior? There's eRampage for Redneck Rampage and there's eDuke32 for Duke Nukem, Is there one for Shadow Warrior?
I was looking on the Duke Nukem 3D Hi-Res website and saw this link..

http://www.proasm.com/

I haven't used it personally but it appears to allow for higher resolutions and some customizing. I don't believe it's a new engine though

I use this. Not as good as eDuke, but gets the job done fairly well. At least it did when I tried :P

Edit: is the same that the poster above shared, but I did try it.

What you're looking for is called a Source Port. That's when people create a new graphics engine and port the game to it using the source code from the original game when the developer studio makes it open source. It still requires the original game files.

I don't have Shadow Warrior, but I found this Source Port for it:

I did not know about that one. Thank you!
SWP(proasm) and Redux were built off of the JonoFsw port. They use openGL.

Total conversions that were made to be compatible for SWP will work with all 3.

It is rumored that hendricks266 is working on a "eSW32"

Don't forget to visit Shadow Warrior Central ...

or [url=http://swcentral.weebly.com ]swcentral.weebly.com 2 URLs same site.

I experienced a lot of crashes with proasm. I had the best luck with the latest github version of the jonof stuff, but it's a pain to get set up.

Cool, didn't know Jon had a newer version up.
