I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I've recently bought Shadow Warrior 2 and can't play it since whenever I try to launch it, I just get a black screen and windows telling me that the game is not responding.

I've tried pretty much everything I could think of. Checked to see if directx and other redistributables were installed (they are), updated my drivers, verified integrity of the game, ran as admin, I do meet the minimum requirements. And yet, I simply cannot play it.

I just want to play this game, so any help would be appreciated.

I'm having similar problems after downloading it on GOG Galaxy. The game runs, I can see the kunai mouse and I can hear the intro and menu music just fine but I can't see the game. I'm running this on an Acer Aspire R 15 Laptop.


EDIT: I figured out a solution on my end. You need to update your graphics card drivers. Game is sweet.
