Is there any way to download a patch for Shadow Warrior other then trough GOG Downloader, like a link or something ?

Point your web-browser to your shelf, click on Shadow Warrior, switch-off GOG.com Downloader mode, and download the Universal Update.

Seeing as its your friends copy you will have to have him download the patch for you onto a drive, or barring that purchase the game yourself.

Your friend did not gift this to you. He actually bought it for himself. Which means you need to kindly uninstall the game or better yet buy it from GOG yourself.
