I'm not sure if this was mentioned before, but I was wondering if the GOG release of Shadow Man has gotten this update for address some issues the game had on Windows 10. These key points are mentioned in the latest update as April 2016:

• Windows 10 compatibility fixes have been applied. The game should now run properly in Fullscreen.
• DirectX 9.0c is now downloaded with the game and installed on the first run of the game through Steam.

Just wait for the new remastered version next month. Once that one is available this old version should be erased from existence because there will not be any reason to ever use it again.

GOG should have fixed it,it is their responsibility.

And not everyone wants to play the remastered, I still enjoy vanilla Shadow Man,I have it on Steam and that version works like a charm on my retro-set up.

So please,respect the original work and let people make their decisions for themselves. There is no REAL reason to "erase" anything. They will complement each other.

The controls in the current classic version are a mess and improving that in the remaster is reason enough to never ever touch it again. Same like with the first Turok game where the old pc version was just a broken and in no way able to compete with the remaster that Nightdive released years later. That's something I highly doubt as I don't see where the old version would still be an improvement over the remaster.

Now they even took down the original and don't sell it here anymore. Seems as if, unlike Steam, this site doesn't care much about old games as about other things.

Well the game is available through humble bundle as a 3rd party "key" you can get at least that's where I got mine to go with my remaster.
