Hi, i can't manage to run the game. When i click on the exe/shortcut nothing happens. The mouse pointer seems to "load" a little bit but nothing happens after.

I'm running it as admin and i set everything to ignore in firewall etc. There are no crash logs or dmp. /txt files generated in game folder.

Anyone else with this issue? Help me please :)!

You should provide more information about your system (OS, hardware, etc.) in order to get help.

I suggest you to take a look at the Windows Event Viewer in order to get information about the crash.

Same problem here, exactly the same behavior.
EDIT: I came here from Steam

Win 10 64-bit (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)
i5-4460
16 GB DDR3 RAM
GTX 1060 6GB (latest drivers)

List of things I've tried:
1. Rebooting (several times)
2. Running as admin, both Steam and the .exe directly from the folder
3. Running in compatibility mode
4. Disabling all security sofware
5. Updating GPU and Windows drivers
6. Making sure the game is using dedicated GPU in Nvidia control panel
7. Uninstalling and redownloading from scratch
8. Moving to SSD
9. Veryfing game folder
10. Crying
11. Clearing %appdata%temp
12. Running DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth command in cmd
13. Running sfc /scannow command in cmd
14. Installing the latest Visual C++ 2015-2019
15. Manually putting ucrtbase.dll from system32 to game folder
16. Deleting videos from the game folder
17. Disabling my sound devices
18. Booting Windows into safe mode with networking and trying to launch it from there
19. Manually checking every .dll connected to the .exe in Dependency Walker and making sure I'm not missing any
20. More crying

Same problem here!
One clever user in Steam forums (cheers Fardoche) figured it out. It is caused by a non-ASCII character in your Windows profile name/filepath to save folder. Like Ľ or Č or something like that. Sadly you can't change that really, you can either make a new Windows profile in your PC using only standard characters or wait for a fix.

GREAT, another Nightdive game giving me problems because of my Windows user name. I could never save a game in Forsaken Remastered and that has NEVER been fixed. Now I can't start this game because my account name is "Rômulo" instead of "Romulo".
