Hello, a few of days ago I purchased this game off of gog and it works great! There is a weird glitch or something, however, that involves specific sound effects. When I first played it, I noticed that the sound effect that Grubb's weapon makes upon striking an enemy is delayed until a couple of seconds afterward. I just got Led in my party, and the same thing is happening with her as well.
I could handle it for the most part with Grubb, but Led's has that loud clanging noise so it is really bugging me to hear it sound off. All of the other characters that I have thus far (Maya, Runner, and Corgen) do not seem to suffer from this issue. I don't know if any other characters will or will not, however.
Does anyone else have this strange issue, or is it just me? And does anyone know if there might be a way to fix it? All help is appreciated. :)

Hi,
if you're on XP you could try lowering the Sound Hardware acceleration.
I should have mentioned it in my first post, but I use Vista, not XP.

Ah, ok.
Have you tried applying one of the compatibility settings to the game's shortcut ? Windows98 maybe ?
Just tried that, it didn't seem to do anything, though. Is there anything that might be done with the audio, since that seems to be the issue?

Well, sometimes applying compatibility mode solves all kind of problems, including audio related problems.
Since you're on Vista you can't do anything regarding sound hardware acceleration i'm affraid.
As for other solutions related to audio options, i don't have this particular game myself, so i don't know what audio options are available ingame or through a config file in the game directory, or even if fiddling with any of them would help solving your issue...
I also don't know if this game places some kind of setup configuration utility in the game's start menu folder but i guess you could always check that just in case...
