So I have had this game for a long time bought the original on Cd and still have it. I was wondering if any one has any saved games? I never beat it the furthest I got was to the blonde girl who was a pilot then I think she wrecked I also remember the one female general lady joining you and a lot of them where locked in some cage. If anyone has any saved games so I do not have to start from the beginning that would be great I really want to finish this game. I think its around shell 4 or 5?
I too was playing this game some years ago but did not finish it. I stopped at the point where you get the airship and completed all the many possible side quests, just before I was supposed to continue the story on shell one. I've since lost all my saved games, as my old hard drive no longer works. Could someone please make available a saved game at this point? I don't feel like starting the game over again from the beginning, but would give this game another shot if I was able to continue from this point...

Here is a save just before getting the ship. Poke me here or on BakaBT if the link expires.
Thanks a lot! I have downloaded the file and will check it out when I have time to play this game again.

Ha, looks like many people were stuck in this game at around this moment :) There weren't many walkthroughs available back in the day, and there was little to no clue on how to progress in the game after getting airship.

Hey jfauconier,

Here's a .zip with a few save files from my run with this game. Please excuse my choice in online file sharing and storage.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/gbugf0d9uoo9488/Septerra_Core_saves_-_3_-_160422.zip

The files go in the \Septerra Core\savedata\ directory. If you don't have a savedata directory, feel free to create one and pop the files directly in it.

However, some words must be given on the files and their level of progression in the game. These files are presented based on their level of progression, from earliest to most advanced.

AfterMiningBoss.scg - This is the earliest of the three saves in terms of game progression. This is directly after the mining boss but proceeds just before completing the first Chosen ship adventure.

BeforeChosenCapital.scg - This is just after completing the first encounter with Connor and obtaining a new ship to navigate the Shells. It was saved directly after those encounters but I did not have the chance to explore new side-quests or even prepare for the first foray into the Chosen Capital. While you did not ask for this save, I felt it might be important since I missed a relic or two in my next save. I think it's the 3rd (highest) tier relic that specializes in Agility? As far as I know, it can only be found in the Chosen Capital and once this chapter is completed, you can't get back in to search for it.

After3Magi.scg - This is after completing the 3 Magis encounter in the Chosen Capital. You receive the Core Key but I don't recall if I completed any side-quests.

I have a number of other save files as well. I just don't recall if any of the side-quests were completed in any of them, among other things. Let me know if you have any questions.

seekere71,

Can you provide 2 screenshots for me? Specifically, screenshots of your:

1) \Septerra Core folder and;
2) \Septerra Core\savedata\ folder

In the meantime, will check out my settings as well.
