Have you ever thought about playing Septerra Core with gamepad
It's very simple. All you need is to buy gamepad for PC, but with ANALOG button (yes, it's very important). Now download Joytokey - it's for free. If you don't want to set up buttons, and that takes time, I did everything. Download my file with ready buttons and open it with Joytokey.

Oh, hey! Thanks for this. I did not realize the game could be controlled well without a mouse. Due to the clear JRPG inspirations It would make the game feel so very at home to play it on a big TV with a gamepad. I will have to keep this in mind. I use Pinnacle for my gamepad needs as I bought it way back before programs like it were common and easy to find. I also don't intend on replaying Septerra Core any time soon, so I cant confirm how well the game game controls with your configuration. Im glad you came up with the idea though. It may be a long time till I play the game again, but this is how I will do it.

Could you clarify what you mean by analog button though? My best guess is you might mean the button that swaps the d-pad and left joystick assignments that a few PC gamepads have had. Im not sure im right though. I don't see why it would be necessary when you can just manually assign what you need to whatever you need. Unless the limitation is in Joy2key?

This game is in my backlog and have been dying to play it... however I use the Pinnacle Profiler... does anyone know where to find a profile file for this game? I've never made a profile file before...
