Edit: Nevermind. I think I'll pass on Septerra Core.

I've considered this game before, but noticed a lot of reports of it being buggy. I've got a computer running Windows 7 (64 bit) and am concerned if it's even worth dealing with. I don't want to have to live with "framerate issues" or "broken videos" if the game isn't even worth it... so, as a fan of jrpgs (and rpgs in general) is this game worth it?

I would recommend getting it if it is still on sale. If it doesn't work, then you only lost about 2 dollars. But, I am sure it will run on a Windows 7 computer. I am considering downgrading my computer just to play it. My computer runs on Windows 8. For some reason the game is quite laggy when it runs on Windows 8. It doesn't seem like it would be too hard to get the game to work on Windows 7 if you did have a problem.

I'm playing it now on a windows 7 laptop (about 1/3 of the way through) without any real problems. The only thing I've noticed is the after battle pop ups (e.g., "party earned 200 experience points"). It is hard to describe, but it clearly takes longer than it should. i.e., it takes 15 seconds when it should take 5. Not a huge deal, really. But I'm only about 1/3 of the way through.
