I have forgotten how! I know you need to right click on the desktop icon, go to properties, then add something to the end of the target path. (You can do this to more than one game!) But what? Help?

Unfortunately, I do not have the specific answer you're looking for and, hopefully, someone will provide it. In the meantime, assuming you are not already familiar with this info., you can click and hold <shift> + Left click to get your party to consistently run. They stop running when you release the <shift> key though.
Add the switch -r to the end of the target path to turn on always run

Where is the target path? On the desktop shortcut? When I add -r to the target in my desktop shortcut, it gives me an error and won't let me save it.

Yes. The target path is what is indicated in your desktop shortcut. Make sure you're adding the -r after the end quote in the file path.
