I can say without doubt, that when I bought this on release, it was the most fun I've ever had with a football game. The action is fast and intense, the goals are incredible, and the final scores are outrageous. Despite all this, any novice can pick it up and be scoring goals in their first match. This does however, make it very much a game; in a totally different league to the likes of FIFA and PES.
Having come back to it, I can say nothing has changed. It's barely dated at all. Sure, it's not without it's problems; there is no button to change player, and there is no proper league or stats system as such, but if you want a football game that doesn't try and mimic the real sport, but goes all out to be as fun as possible, then this is possibly the best $10 you can spend on GOG at the minute.

I totally agree; I had the wii version of that, and it was hours of fun. I'd say this sensible soccer is the closest you can get to that on the PC

I ave the gc version and get the wii one is in my long temrs plan
This game is nice at 4 players.
I now thinking if i will buy this one..
This is a fun soccer game, no doubt about it and an excellent successor to the original Sensible Soccer from 1992. But while the game play mechanic is much the same, the charm is somewhat missing from the original. Oh, it's still there, just not as prevalent.
That said. It would be excellent to see the original here on GOG as well as the other sensible games Sensible Golf and the Canon Fodder games. Please GOG.
Agree with previous speaker here.
It's fun game, but not as good as the originals.
Sensible World of Soccer is the Football game. Period. FIFA is a better simulator, but SS has always been more fun.

I am still considering buying this game. However, after two matches (Arsenal vs Florentina) I don't see much motivation to play this game anymore.
The second match was a clear win (2:0) so what to do next?
This game has to be the best in multiplayer but in singleplayer?
(I am also sorry for the missing license)
