If you've played Psi-ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, then go play that instead of this.
This game is mediocre, at best. I gave it a chance and played for a few hours to see if things improved, but they didn't. If you're curious, then get it. If not, stick with Psi-Ops.

It'd be nice to know what exactly was wrong with the game. Whether it was buggy, bad UI, etc... Saying it "sucks" and not providing a reason doesn't help. I've been thinking on buying this, but I'd like to know what the specific negatives are (as a lot of games on here are a little unbalanced in their reviews).

The voice acting was bland.
The storyline (from what I learned) isn't great.
The controls are awkward.
In other words, i'd much rather be playing Psi-ops than this.

Id have to say i disagree wholeheartedly.
the story was amazing.. while the gameplay was nothing special (still pretty fun tho) the story is truly amazing.

The story might not seem that great in the beginning, but honestly - I've been playing games since they used ASCII-graphics and beeper noises - and Second Sight has one of the best stories I've ever experienced in a game.

The controls are a little fiddly but I think the voice acting is actually pretty good (though the audio itself isn't brilliant which might be what you're picking up on there).
Also, up to where I am in the game, the overall story doesn't seem particularly special, but it is told in a really unique and interesting way.
Obviously no game is for everyone, but if you enjoyed Psi-Ops I'd have to guess you haven't given it a long enough chance to see past the superficial flaws.
